Одно из кладбищ Александро-Невской лавры, Некрополь XVIII века. Кладбище заложено одновременно со зданиями монастыря в начале XVIII века. Получило название по Лазаревской усыпальнице. Здесь хоронили представителей привилегированных слоев, поэтому с первых же лет кладбище начало заполняться высокохудожественными надгробиями и памятниками. По этой причине после Октябрьской революции было принято сделать кладбище музеем-некрополем, что было реализовано в 1932 г.

One of the Saint Alexander Nevsky Lavra (Monastery) cemeteries, Necropolis of the XVIII century. The cemetery was founded at the same time as the monastery buildings in early XVIII century. It got its name after the St. Lazarus Sepulchre. Privileged citizens were buried here, so from the first years of its existence the cemetery was full of highly artistic grave-stones and monuments. Thus after the Great October Revolution of 1917 it was decided to turn the cemetery into a necropolis museum which was done in 1932.
